School Packages
Creative Allsorts aims to provide young people aged 4-18, with access to the arts through a variety of creative learning activities. We believe that continued engagement in the arts builds confidence, develops social skills and improves physical and mental wellbeing. Our dynamic range of activities include: dance, singing, acting and film & TV. We offer bespoke packages of extra curricular activities, curriculum led workshops and staging school productions.
Our packages are affordable, as we don’t have the overheads of a large company, this means we can pass that saving back to your school.

Extra Curricular Activities
Our dynamic range of extra curricular activities (available for KS1 - KS5) require minimal organisation or commitment from you or your teachers, and give young people the opportunity to explore the world of theatre in a fun and engaging environment. Our industry professional staff are fully qualified, experienced and DBS checked. They will bring their own equipment and arrive with enough time to set up and meet the young people after their school day has finished.
We offer age appropriate theatre activities that can be adapted to your schools needs, delivered as standalone topics or developed using a “pick and mix” style package from the below sessions.
Dance
Our fitness based dance classes will encourage young people to understand and control their own bodies. Developing good posture, strength, flexibility, agility, stamina, balance and coordination, through a variety of dance techniques including: ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. Repetition and rehearsal can improve mental dexterity, as well as the ability to absorb information, whilst the “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again” nature of dance class will build resilience, drive and determination, all while having lots of fun to pop hits and musical theatre classics.
Acting
Young people often struggle to understand and express emotions, unless they are able to exercise this in different ways. Acting can provide a perfect opportunity to express these emotions in a non-verbal, or non-traditional way. Improving self expression can lead to a happier and healthier lifestyle.
Our acting classes create a safe space for young people to experiment and find their own voice, through a variety of topics including: understanding the voice, improvisation, character creation, scene work, using props/costume and creative writing. Each topic provides an excellent opportunity for pupils to exercise their imagination, build their self esteem and develop their confidence and communication skills, helping them in all walks of life.
Singing
Singing is an expression of personality and emotion. It can help to grow confidence and creativity, as well as a sense of unity. Singing provides an outlet for stress and tension, and naturally lifts our moods by releasing endorphins (the happy hormone). Our engaging singing classes encourage the development of language skills, rhythm and the ability to retain information by exploring a variety of topics including: breath control, projection, reading and following music and understanding and articulating the vocal instrument.
Film & TV
With a focus on developing emotional intelligence, language skills and the ability to listen and focus, our practical classes will cover the craft of production and screen acting. Exploring a variety of roles including: acting, producing, directing, camera operation, sound recording, designing costumes and applying make-up. Young people will have the opportunity to experience roles they didn’t even know existed, inspiring interest and sometimes even dream jobs!
All of our extra curricular activities can be booked half termly (6 weeks) or termly (12 weeks).
We produce work which allows instant gratification, we actively encourage parents or guardians to, if possible, come in at pick up time and watch what we have working on that session. We can also work towards a larger performance if that is something your school would be interested in.
Curriculum Led Workshops
Our Creative Allsorts curriculum led workshops directly support curriculum learning and school improvement priorities. Our bespoke packages are specifically designed around the context of your chosen topic - you tell us your learning objectives and we will tailor a programme to your school. This can include one-off workshops, or ongoing classes, designed to engage young minds and support engagement, motivation and attainment.
With half day and full day packages available, we offer you our time and what you do with it is up to you! We can work with one group of students for the full duration, or we can run multiple sessions back to back.
